Ovation Agriculture has been supported through a range of prestigious innovation and enterprise programmes, with particular impact from our involvement with Edinburgh Innovations. Through participation in the Edinburgh Innovations Venture Builder Incubator, the business has benefited from intensive support in commercialisation, product development, and investment readiness, helping to accelerate the transition from research into a scalable venture. This has been complemented by engagement with PhD MAX, embedding strong academic and research foundations into the business, and supporting the development of evidence-led innovation.

 

 

Our innovation has also been recognised through the Innovate UK SPARK Award, which is supporting the advancement of our technology while enabling collaboration with leading academic partners, including the University of Glasgow. This collaboration strengthens our ability to develop a robust, research-driven solution, combining practical on-farm insight with academic expertise to address livestock dental health at scale.

 

 

Alongside this, the company has gained wider recognition through competitive national programmes. We are proud recipients of Scottish EDGE Young EDGE (2020) and the Scottish EDGE Wild Card Award (2025), recognising both early promise and continued growth. We have also been supported by the Converge Challenge, where we were named KickStart Runner-Up and a Net Zero Finalist, highlighting both the commercial opportunity and sustainability impact of our work. Additional support has been provided through CENSIS (Milk Round Incubator) and The King’s Foundation ‘Test Your Business Idea’ programme.Together, these programmes have played a critical role in shaping Ovation Agriculture’s strategy, strengthening our commercial approach, and supporting our mission to improve livestock health, welfare, and productivity through practical, on-farm innovation.
